As we continue to highlight each of our Six Foundational Pillars of Stoa, this time, we will focus on the third pillar.
Pillar Three: We are a community. The Oxford Dictionary defines community as “a feeling of fellowship with others as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals,” which fits our Stoa community perfectly. We are a community that fellowships together at clubs, tournaments, and meetings. We have put our faith in our Savior and share the goal to speak boldly and change the world for Christ. We are a community in the good and the hard: we laugh, pray, and even cry together. Ephesians 4:16 encourages us to grow together as the body of Christ with the purpose of building itself up in love. In our community, may we build one another up in love so we find the encouragement we need to bring hope to a lost and dying world.
