Script submission is an important and beneficial part of the competition process.
It encourages excellent speeches.
It keeps competitors accountable to the rules.
It ensures a level playing field for the competitors.
It prevents adjudications at tournaments.
It prepares students for college.

The Speech Committee recently hosted a webinar that is now available to Stoa members in the Stoa Visual Library called “The Ins and Outs of Script Submission.” We gave the following tips to help with the process:
Interps: Copy source script pages before highlighting and use phone apps for easy scanning
Platforms: Record sources as you research and use websites like EasyBib.com or Zotero.org
It can be frustrating to receive return emails that a script needs additional work, but please keep in mind that we are all learning together. Script reviewers are an important part of that process. They are there to help you write a better speech and prepare you for NITOC.

The Stoa Speech Committee
I volunteer at a community center running afternoon activities for teens, and we recently added Spacebar clicker to our rotation of quick, screen-based games between programs. It's proven popular since there's no barrier to entry, kids walk up, try it for thirty seconds, and immediately understand how it works. We use a shared computer in the lounge, and it's held up fine with dozens of different users each week. What I like most from a supervision standpoint is the complete absence of inappropriate content or aggressive ads, which matters when we're responsible for what teens see on center devices. Sparked some informal tournaments among regulars too. Low-effort addition worth considering for similar youth programs.
Một website mình thấy đáng lưu lại nếu thường xuyên xem dự báo thời tiết Cần Thơ. Trang tổng hợp khá nhiều thông tin như nhiệt độ, cảm giác như, độ ẩm, sức gió, tầm nhìn và thời gian bình minh, hoàng hôn. Có cả dự báo dài hạn và biểu đồ trực quan giúp xem nhanh mà vẫn đầy đủ.
Không cần đợi bản tin thời tiết trên TV, giờ chỉ cần mở website là mình biết ngay thời tiết Tp Hồ Chí Minh trong những ngày tới. Trang cập nhật dữ liệu liên tục cho 34 tỉnh thành trên cả nước, riêng TP.HCM có đầy đủ các chỉ số cần thiết để theo dõi thời tiết và chủ động hơn trong mọi kế hoạch cá nhân.
GG88 mình ghé thử kiểu tiện tay thôi, vì thấy mọi người nói nhiều nên vào xem giao diện ra sao. Ấn tượng đầu là trang nhìn khá thoáng, chia từng mảng nội dung rõ ràng nên lướt nhanh vẫn nắm được ý chính, không bị rối mắt. Mình để ý họ có nhắc khá thẳng về bảo mật kiểu mã hóa nhiều lớp, đọc qua cũng thấy yên tâm hơn chút vì ít nhất họ không né phần này. Mấy mục trong menu đặt dễ thấy, chuyển qua lại không bị giật lag gì. Với mình thì điểm dễ chịu nhất là phần “FAQ” được làm nổi bật, nằm ngay trong nội dung nên khỏi phải mò lâu, kiểu…
b52club mình thấy nhắc hoài nên cũng ghé vào coi thử cho biết. Ấn tượng đầu là trang sắp xếp kiểu từng khối nội dung gọn gàng, kéo xuống vẫn dễ theo dõi chứ không rối. Mình chỉ lướt phần thông tin thôi, thấy họ để mục cảnh báo về chuyện website giả mạo khá nổi, nhìn phát là hiểu họ muốn người mới cẩn thận khỏi nhầm. Tiêu đề với chữ nghĩa cũng kiểu thẳng thắn, không màu mè quá nên đọc nhanh ổn. Mình không mò sâu game hay tính năng gì, chỉ xem cách họ trình bày và cảm giác là ưu tiên cho người đọc tìm đúng thông tin. Nói chung phần cảnh báo được tách…
