Speaking Boldly. Changing the World for Christ.

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
Romans 11:36 (NASB®)

NITOC 2014 Awards Ceremony

National Invitational Tournament of Champions
The grand finale for Christian homeschool speakers and debaters!

Invitations are extended to students whose verified tournament results are posted on the National Christian Homeschool Speech and Debate Rankings website. These invitations are extended regardless of league affiliation, making the Stoa NITOC a true, league-independent, National Championship!

NITOC 2014 was the largest Christian homeschool speech and debate tournament in history. Students from all five Christian homeschool organizations/leagues participated in this grand event. Approximately 5000 speeches were presented during the course of the tournament! Over 330 debate teams competed 1500 debates in Lincoln Douglas, Team Policy and Parliamentary Debate! NITOC 2014 is a testament to the Lord's gracious provision in the lives of the 630 students and 500 families in attendance. Wildfires in the North County of San Diego forced the closure of the California State University San Marcos campus 36 hours before the tournament opened. Two different churches in Carlsbad were used as check in locations. The tournament was moved 3 times in the first four days. Competition began at the Stoa at Point Loma Nazarene University overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  On day two, the tournament moved to the Town and Country Hotel in the Mission Valley area of San Diego. Day four saw the tournament move to San Diego State University. The awards were held in the park-like Kit Carson Amphitheater in Escondido. God was magnified and glorified in all aspects of His miraculous provision for NITOC 2014.
