Speaking Boldly. Changing the World for Christ.

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
Romans 11:36 (NASB®)

Stoa is a national High School and Junior High Speech and Debate organization serving the needs of privately educated, Christian Homeschooling families. Stoa exists to train Christian homeschooled youth in speech and debate to better communicate a Biblical world view. Each year the Stoa Board offers the National Invitational Tournament of Champions (NITOC), inviting students from across the United States to perform, speak and debate to the glory of God.
  • Stoa was established on the model of our nation's founding fathers with a commitment to limited central government and maximum local control.
  • Stoa trusts local leaders to know how best to serve their local communities in administering their own local tournaments.
  • Stoa offered more than 90 tournaments nationwide during the 2014-2015 tournament season.
    • There were tournaments from Hawaii to Washington DC and from Seattle to Tampa!
  • Stoa tournaments are all open to families from around the country.
  • Stoa is building a world class community of speakers, debaters, and family members who are committed to Speaking Boldly and Changing the World for Christ in their homes, churches, communities, at colleges and universities, and in the workplace.

NITOC 2015 Memories

NITOC invitations are extended to students whose verified tournament results are posted on the National Christian Homeschool Speech and Debate Rankings (Speechranks) website.
  • These invitations are extended regardless of league affiliation, making NITOC a true, league-independent National Championship!
  • NITOC 2015 was once again one of the largest high school forensics national championships in the country!
    • This includes public and private schools.
  • Approximately 5000 speeches were presented during the course of the tournament.
  • Over 330 debate teams competed 1500 debates in Lincoln Douglas, Team Policy and Parliamentary Debate.
  • God was magnified and glorified at NITOC 2015.
  • NITOC 2016 is being held on the beautiful campus of Drury University in Springfield, Missouri from May 21-28, 2016.

  • Speechranks is the most popular website in the history of Christian homeschool speech and debate.
  • Speechranks is a gift from Stoa to the Christian homeschool forensics community.
  • Speechranks hosts events from all five Christian homeschool speech and debate organizations/leagues in the country.
  • Speechranks has been created to fairly compare and rank students from around the nation.
  • Speechranks now in its sixth season, has tallied results from 850 tournaments and thousands of students.
  • Speechranks has more than 4.3 million pageviews!
